First there was the income tax.  It's called the "progressive income tax" for a reason, you know.  Then, the liberals got very creative and gave us so many things in our culture we've just had to stop and try to remember what they all are.  So, here is Part I of "Greatest Moments of Liberal History."  Pay attnetion.  They'll probably be a test.

This past weekend, PolitiZoid had the pleasure of being featured on one of the world’s most respected news organizations—The Young Turks. This is the “largest online news show in the world” and is hosted by the infamous Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian.

The dynamic duo brought one of PolitiZoid’s latest animated episodes up on charges of racism, but their hard-hitting critique seemed to leave their own racial views hanging rather awkwardly in the wind.

The episode in question is “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom,” which features President Obama and the First Lady singing and dancing while images of the failing economy flash behind them.

Keep in mind that these are the Obamas’ actual words and voices. PolitiZoid relies on real audio from public figures, and the audio for this episode comes from a special White House rendition of the classic children’s book, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

Clearly uneducated in the great literary classics, the Turkish youngsters assume that the voices are done by impersonators spewing gibberish to make Barack and Michelle sound incompetent and stereotypically black.

President Obama dancing and singing like a rapper “because he’s black,” saying things like “skit scat scoodle doot”? Racist!

Addressing Michelle’s questionable voice, they remarked, “What is she even saying? She’s speaking like a stereotype, right? She sounds like a stereotype!” Yes, Michelle Obama’s own voice sounds like a stereotype. Definitely racist.

Their dialogue is quite compelling. You can watch the whole show here.

Comment below and let us know what you think. Is this really a racist cartoon?

How We Help China Win the Future

Our little China debt isn’t so little anymore. Politicians in Washington can ignore it all they want, but the fact remains. China is now the largest foreign holder of U.S. debt with the grand total reaching $1.16 trillion in December 2010.

This means that we have the privilege of making approximately $27 billion in yearly interest payments straight to the Chinese government. There’s nothing like receiving $73.9 million a day to make you appreciate the full faith and credit of the United States.

The good news is that our investments are really paying off, and China is experiencing remarkable growth. With a GDP of more than $10 trillion and a current growth rate of 10.3 percent, the IMF estimates that China’s economy will surpass that of the United States by 2016.

In 2010 China became the world’s largest exporter. On the flip side, China consumes 53 percent of the world's cement, 48 percent of iron ore, 47 percent of coal, and the majority of just about every major commodity.

China’s published military budget for last year was $114 billion, the second largest in the world. Some speculate that the actual amount spent could be anywhere from two to three times this number, but who’s counting? The latest innovations include a stealth fighter and an aircraft carrier, both welcome additions to the armadas of peace-loving nations.

The moral of the story is that China is winning the future, and we get to help them do it. When global redistribution of power and wealth is the goal, finishing second is never a bad thing.
