Our president uttered the most ironic statement of the week while defending his handling of the economy. Surrounded by adoring fans in
Plummeting approval ratings and the threat of Democrats being swept out of Congress has compelled the President to take desperate measures. Many sources have even seen him secretly attempting to incorporate novel ideas such as “cutting government spending” and “reducing the deficit” into his political vocabulary. This is no easy task, and he has had trouble wrapping his mind around these foreign concepts without turning red.
President Obama’s recent proposal to pass a $50 billion infrastructure bill to jumpstart the economy for the hundredth time shows he is pursuing anything but fiscally responsibility. Combined with the massive spending of his legislative “accomplishments,” finally we see a government with every intention of leaving an inflated national debt to the next generation and many generations to come.
When you are this far in the hole, why not spend a few more trillion?
